AMRG can only be requested by an authorized agency, including local Police or Fire Department, State Police, County Emergency Management Agency, or Park Superintendent. We are actived through Allegheny County 911. When you call, explain the incident and ask for Station 582, Allegheny Mountain Rescue Group. The 911 Dispatcher will take your information and alert the team. An AMRG search manager will contact you shortly to determine the resources and type of response required.
We can not be activated directly by family members or friends. We do not search for lost pets.
